The Community Foundation of Greater Chattanooga, Inc. (the "Foundation") values the trust and relationship it has built with the community and friends.  The Foundation wishes to respect and protect the privacy of visitors to our website.

  • The website employs the use of “session cookies”.  A cookie is a text-file a web server places on a user’s computer hard drive only at the beginning and end of each session.  Our cookies DO NOT collect personally identifiable information.
  • If you provide the Foundation with personal information in an e-mail message, we will use this information to respond to your request.
  • This Site is neither directed to nor designed for use by any individual under the age of eighteen.  If a minor child has provided us with personal information, the Foundation asks that a parent or legal guardian of the minor child contact the Foundation to have such information corrected or deleted from the Site.  A parent of legal guardian may contact the Foundation at 423-265-0586.
  • The Foundation does not rent, sell, or share any information it collects with any third party.

  

Confidentiality Related to Gifts

The Foundation board and staff recognize the importance of acknowledging donors for their gifts while maintaining detail information  confidential, unless the donor otherwise consents.   Discussions, correspondence, and agreements with donors and prospective donors will be kept in strict confidence.  Donor requests for privacy, anonymity or confidentiality will be honored.
